Course Objectives
Define key terms related to pain management.
Evaluate current practices for assessing and managing acute and chronic pain.
Determine the appropriate use of opioids for pain management.
Implement strategies for recognizing and treating Opioid Use Disorders.
Discuss common side effects of opioids and their management.
Target Audience
Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, first responders, Residents/Fellows, and Medical Students from all specialties.
