Course Overview
This CME course provides healthcare professionals with essential knowledge on back-to-school vaccination requirements. It covers current CDC and state guidelines, vaccine schedules for school-aged children, documentation and compliance strategies, and updates on emerging vaccines. Participants will learn how to effectively educate families, address vaccine hesitancy, and ensure student immunization records meet legal standards.

Discuss current immunization requirements for day care and Clark County School District.
Describe recommended practices for administration of vaccines.
Review methods for preventing and managing adverse reactions.
Locate current immunization resources to increase knowledge of team’s role for improved team performance.
Target Audience
Immunization Providers (Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Medical Students) and other providers who vaccinate patients in varied settings including hospitals, provider offices, schools, community health centers, and public health crisis.
